Teams: 2016 Boys
Mickey is a former Austin College soccer player where he played from 2018-2022. At Austin College Mickey was a starter and finished 3rd in assist in the SCAC. Before Austin College, Mickey played four years of Varsity at Aledo and club soccer for AFC, DTSC and Solar. Mickey helped lead Aledo to the 5A UIL State Championship game in 2021 where he also received 1st Team All State and District MVP Honors. Additionally, he was selected to the FW All Star team and All Half-Decade Team while being voted Athlete of the Half Decade. During club ball he worked hard and had a lot of success with his teammates. Semi Finalist and Finalist of the Dallas Cup, NTX State Cup Champion, USYS Regional Champion, USYS National Bronze Medalist, NL Champions multiple league championships. Coach Mickey brings a strong coaching background at all levels having been at the Varsity Level in HS and currently coaches Middle School in FW. On the side, Coach enjoys coaching youth soccer programs and assisting athletes through his company Talent Development Academy, a private training and lesson company for chess, writing, soccer and test taking. Mickey is excited to finish his Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Emerson College.
