RASHEED EPPS

AFC Skills Trainer

Rasheed has coached Competitive Youth soccer for over 30 years.  He was the Director of Coaching for 9 years at Lower Merion Soccer Club in PA as well as the head coach of several Select Girls and Boys teams over the 15 years he was at that club.  He has taken several teams to PA State championships and developed many players who went on to play at all levels of College soccer and College athletics.  He helped create programs in the offseason to allow for all levels of players to continue to develop their skills in a fun and creative environment.  He also ran the Girls U8 Academy for the club.  He was the Men's  Assistant Soccer Coach at Rosemont College in PA from 2009 to 2012. In the 4 years at Rosemont College they took a start up program and went to the Conference Championship in his last year there.  He enjoys focusing on the development of each player he works with, allowing the players to have a creative outlet on the field while having fun and increasing the players Soccer IQ. Rasheed grew up and played soccer in the Philadelphia suburbs and at Millersville University (DII) in PA.  After over 40 years of playing he recently retired from playing soccer to focus on family and coaching. Rasheed holds a USSF National D license and a USSF Director of Coaching Diploma.
